#Igot5onit99 | Day.67 | 1,000!

Super exciting! Today I hit the 1,000 threshold, at least for my push ups and squats.  That is super amazing to me, and I am beyond proud of myself.  It definitely has me pumped to push through this last month & finish strong 🙂

You know, I read another blogger’s recent post (themooremama), and she was speaking on being kind to yourself and recognizing that as a mother, it is o.k. to do be perfect, to have off days, to have temporary memory loss, to be exhausted, and honestly, just human!  We have this idea that we are supposed to be super beings once we pop a child out & that we are less than if we are not.  F*#!- that! Carrying and birthing a child in and of itself is a huge feat that not all woman can (or even want…) to do – especially these days!  I super needed to hear her words of encouragement to keep pushing me through.  Hitting today’s 1,000 mark is so satisfying and it reiterates how much work I am putting in – although there may be 15 other things I am still working on.  AND THAT IS OK!

It is extra sweet because I applied for an at home job & just found out today that I did not receive it, which is a bummer. But, when I think about all the things I have set for myself to accomplish in the near future, it was just another distraction that would have set me back.  The few extra dollars would have been nice, but the available time is what I am truly going to look back on & remember.  Working part time and then having a second at home job does seem a bit overzealous in hindsight.

Today at work…

The most bizarre thing happened!  There was a very heated conversation between two of my co-workers and I have a feeling that there is going to be a series of meetings tomorrow.. Well, at least it is Friday and I have some exciting things planned.  Just counting down until I am ready to lay the physical groundwork for my business.  Until then, just keeping my head down and staying as focused as one can in this age of distractions!

2018 = 5 million!!!
