#Igot5onit99 | Day.51

Awww man, today was a long day! Right after I got home, had to quickly get ready again & spent several hours meeting with a financial adviser.

Good news is, I finally have life insurance!  Such a small thing, but I definitely feel better knowing that my family is covered in case something happens to me before my anticipated 108th birthday 😉

I also had the opportunity to complete my money counting activity for my son in law (turning 5 in a couple of weeks).  It is just 7 pages and I purchased a “Money Jar” play money set with 220 pieces of replicated money so he can learn.  When I asked his mother what he was learning at this time, she said money.  So I bought him some materials and made others.  He is REALLY into dinosaurs right now, so I added some fun dinosaur clip art on the pages that he can color or just help keep him motivated and excited about this learning exercise. 

With that said, super late dinner (grabbed food since we returned home after 9pm), ate, had to bathe baby girl, then get my workout in.  *Whew* But it is all done and now I rest…

Hopefully, tomorrow is more calm so I can actually get some much needed & wanted reading done.  I have two books to delve into and I have only read 3 pages of one so far.

Day.51 – over the hump and I can already see the other side of things. Should I take my next “progress” picture this week?

Second half of challenge totals:

  • 60 push ups
  • 60 squats 
  • 60 seconds holding plank (cycle through various plank holds each day)
  • 60 seconds holding yoga post
  • 60 calf raises
  • 30 minutes stretching
  • 15 minutes deep breathing

Totals for day 50/99:

  • 700 push-ups (+2 for the “Level up” #1)
  • 700 squats
    • 180 seconds holding seated squat
  • 350 plank rotations (+20 for the “Level Up #2)
    • 180 seconds holding forearm plank
  • 450+ seconds holding yoga pose (Tittibhasana)
  • 360 calf raises
  • 215 minutes of deep breathing (+20 for the “Level Up #3)
  • 60 minutes of stretching
