#Igot5onit99 Day 31

I tried something a little different and thank goodness I did!  I forced myself to do at leats half my workout this morning, even though I pressed the snooze button one too many times.  Now, having just completed the rest, I am so glad I did the push-ups and squats before I started getting ready.

So, although I have kept the sickness at bay, fact of the matter is, I am still sick.  I have not really succumbed to the coughing and I think the exercises have kept the soreness to a minimum.  BUT, I have been TIRED.  I mean, like I took a three hour nap later afternoon and had a hell of a time pulling myself off the couch to cook for the family.  Now, I am sitting her more awake than I could have ever imagined.

*sigh*

But here I sit, continuing the good fight although I am absolutely dreading that single clove of raw garlic waiting for me on the counter top.  If I am serious about eradicating this sickness from my body, I have to do it.  I do not like the process of eating raw garlic (although I LOVE garlicky cooked dishes) or gargling with salt water, but hey – it is either this or some store bought medicine after the fact that is just treating a symptom, magnifying others, and allowing the root cause to extend its stay in my constitution.

In other news…

YEEESSSS!!! It is finally here.  Black panther will be going down tomorrow and I have not waited so long to see a movie ever.  I will have to do another post about why & I will do so next week after people have had the chance to see it.
