#igot5onit99 | Day#15

Mondays are my late start days of the week (well, they were, since I will no longer be working Mondays), so when I woke up to a call from my sister I immediately called her back.  No response, got up & went to the bathroom.  Came back to a missed call & called back…

Big sis is in labor! Whooo hooooo! My mind is going a million miles an hour, I am super emotional, trying to be calm as I hear in her voice she may have been mid contraction (found out later that she was…). She asks me to call our mother & also confirmed that she had been in labor since 4am from the earliest time she could recall.

No one was there with her and I immediately jumped in my sister mode & wanted to get her some support asap! I immediately called work (did not sound like my supervisor was thrilled AT ALL that I was essentially calling out the day before a half day because I have a doctor’s appointment), but whatever, family comes first! I did not and could not plan this, but I am only working part-time and there are others there that can do work if need be, but my family comes before ANY job, point blank.

I jump in the shower, rush to get baby girl changed and fed, and as SOON as Nui gets here, I am out the door! …

Needless to day, I did not do my workout in the a.m., but… I completed it as soon as I got home, headache and all.

Now, time to go get this girl fee, figure out what to cook for dinner, and keep my eyes glued to my phone for updates.  The excitement is SO REAL, my second nephew is on his way & Auntie cannot wait to meet you little one 🙂

Day#14 was  a success!  1.29.18 = Complete

  • Most Difficult:  Choosing between doing it this a.m. or when I get back home
  • Currently Feeling: O.k., have a bit of a headache though 🙁

Totals for day 15/99:

  • 180 push-ups (+2 for the “Level up)
  • 180 squats
  • 105 plank rotations
  • 105 seconds holding yoga pose (Tittibhasana)
  • 75 minutes of deep breathing
